uwti
Trying to test the pulser coil by using a multimeter, set to check voltage, attached to the two wires, white with red stripe and white with green stripe, than kick the bike over. But I only get up to about .08 volts? how else can I test the pulser coil and what voltage am I looking for? Thanks,

YPVS TONE
As oldgitonabike says your'e looking for resistance Not voltage. Just looked on a site with some service data on and it says 1975-76 DT400B and DT400C pulse coil resistance between W/G and W/R wires should be 100 ohms + or - 10%. Hope this helps.
