Moderator Airhead Posted September 13, 2011 Moderator Share Posted September 13, 2011 why not measure your existing offset before the wheels are dismantled, also measure the width of the original rim and the new rim. The offset can then be adjusted accordingly I did the same once...i was advised thet my rims couldnt be re-chromed (wrongly) and so I had new rims fitted, it came to be a decision i regretted ever since and so I sourced a new pair of used wheels had the rims chromed and built with ss spokes.
