Posted September 8, 201113 yr Looking for a bit of help, just bought a DT175MX 1980 which looks to have the wrong swingarm, it has no rear footrests or mounting points, I need to replace the bushes but cant trace what bike it fits. I have bought a kit which has 2 nylon bushes and a single bush (tube) but mine has bronze inserts and two separate bushes that are a lot bigger in diameter. Any help from the experts would be appreciated as I can't afford to pull any more hair out!!!
September 8, 201113 yr which looks to have the wrong swingarm There is currently another thread of mine which is about refurbishing my DT175MX's swinging arm, and there is a photo of the earlier round tube version form 78-79. Is it anything like the photo i took or is it a square tube one? However, It might be helpful if you can take a photo and post it so we can see what you're referring to.
