I want to lower my DT125R and have seen a a few lowering kits on ebay mostly reducing height by around 38mm but one kit lowers by 50mm I am wondering is there a maximum the bike can be lowered as I have only seen one 50mm kit by lust racing. What effect, if any, does this have on performance or wear on the bike.

performance wont change,cant see any problems with wear as all you are changing is the seat height,i went the other way and raised my 125,no difference apart from seat height and a bit more ground clearance.
