Posted September 1, 201113 yr Rebuilding my 1978 Yamaha xs400 and was wondering if it would be possible to add an electric starter to it as it only had a kickstarter to begin with. If so where would i be able to mount it?
September 1, 201113 yr Moderator It normally sits under the carbs, within that chrome cover. If its an xs400 it should have a starter motor, unless you have a "custom" economy modle with wire wheels. also check out www.xs400.com drewps
