Pete of Kettering Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Hi, I am rebuilding a dt 175 mx..it cost £370 and was pretty sound under all the oily mud My problem is the CDI unit (thats a square box with 7 wires coming from it, and has a rubber case) was where the tool kit should be..so i need to know where it should go as i can't see any obvious brackets. Retrohowla Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 From memory my last 175mx had the cdi located behind the right hand side panel nearest to the rear upright of the frame, although i think it varied with what year they were made.
