Greetings from Eastern Canada. My wife and I are the relatively new owners of two (one each) YZF1000R T/Aces. They are a fairly rare bike here in Canada which is one of the attractions.

Here's hoping I can contribute and learn from this site.

Not really rare, but "few and far between" in my area would be a better description.

That is a good description. They are a lot more bulky and kinda make a R1 look like a mini bike. :)

The top one is 1996 and the bottom (my wifes) is a 1997
