DT 125 throttle cable not fitting

Hi Guys,

Got a new throttle/ oil pump cable from wemoto for the DTR, but when I put it on the bike the oil pump section seems way too long, doesn't even start to open the oil pump when the carb cable is fully tight, could I be fitting it wrong? There are not adjusters on the oil pump cable...
