chrisw
Recently when the weather got cold my mate's '99 Fazer 600 started to have problems starting. He's added a new battery but the same thing happens. Symptoms: Press the starter switch, get a click but starter motor does not spin - he should have noticed this before buying a battery!!!. Keep your finger on the switch and twist the throttle and the starter motor spins over and the engine fires up. Any ideas as to how to isolate the problem further? chrisw
Doh, as simple as that? Thanks, I'll get him to give it a try. Now, anyone want to buy a battery? :-)
