Hi folks. Working on my 1981 Virago xv750 and the starter solenoid is fried. broke both wires inside it. So i check around and the one for my bike is 115 bucks. ouch. So i look further and i find that for the 1981 xj750 the starter solenoid is only 70. I'm wondering, same size engine, just a different shape, how likely is it that it's the same size starter and solenoid and can be interchanged to save a buck? Thanks for the help. :)
