Hello everybody!

I have a question for you:

After heavy rain or a long stay at rain at my Yamaha X-MAX 250 (YP250R) the engine does not want to start.

Starter works fine. Battery is ok. But the engine does not response.

If I let my Yamaha dry the engine starts runnig but only for a moment then stopes. If the engine is runnig and I give more throttle also the engine stopes.

Interesting is that as more and more my Yamaha dries as less the engine stoppes. If problem is almost gone only at the full throttle the engine jumps, stoppes for a sec.

It seems that there is a problem with the electrics. I have checked connections but I have not found any problem.

Has anyone had the same problem as me?

Please help. I cannot run today my Yamaha... :( :( :(

Thank you in advance for your help.

Tom
