Posted July 23, 201113 yr hi, just rebuilt 50cc. had a rebore, flushed and cleaned the carb, 3 times, good blue spark,15 to twenty kicks to get her to start when she does, ticks over great.runs ok when i open the throttle, now ive run out of ideas, grateful for any tips thanks bill j.
July 23, 201113 yr hi mate i had that trouble after a month or so of rebuilding mine it was the headbolts had came loose and was losing compression, the bolts have to be torqued down to 10lb and have to have locking washers. try that? it worked for me. thanks

July 24, 201113 yr what modifications are you running?, try adjusting the idle screw until its at a point where it will idle at a sensible speed without you needing to open the throttle
