hi guys

i have a dt50mx 1989 which has started running badly it will tick over all day but as soon as you started to rev it up, it will start cutting out and back firing. i have done a compression test it it said 150psi don't know what it should be? took the carb off and cleaned it out one of the jets where blocked i cleared the blockage still no joy. it has one of those k&n air filters onthis probly isn't helping, trying to get hold of the original airbox. any suggestions thanks

Hello, have you tried cleaning all the jets out and made sure there are no blockages at all because there is an idol jet etc and if the idol jet is not blocked then it will tick over but if another is blocked it won't rev properly.
