zaidar61s Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 what gear oil do i use for a yamaha aerox 100. the service manual says "transmission oil SAE 85W/140 TYPE SE" now i can't find this anywhere and it seems abit too thick for a scooter gearbox i have found the following there are 3 that i have found Silkolene Scooter Gear Oil Transmission 80W-90 - 125ml for £6.50 Shell Motorcycle Gear Transmission Oil 80w/90 1 ltr for £4.98 putoline SCOOTER GEAR OIL 75W/90 125ML 125ml for £5.50 which shall i get? the shell transmission oil seems cheap at £4.98 for 1 litre any help would be really appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
