LeeTeddy Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 Hey, I have recently brought an XVS 125 and was very pleased with my purchase, everything seemed in perfect working order until I changed the spark plugs and the oil filter and oil. I can now hear a very noticable rattle that was not there in the beginning. Please can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction. Have I done something wrong to cause this? First up - Have you checked all the bolts are properly tightened? Just to be sure, most of them have a torque setting which you can find in the service manual (downloads linked to in various threads here). Try going back and checking each one.
