I have a 2003 v-star 1100 classic that is having trouble starting. It is acting like a bad battery. I replaced the battery and the problem has not changed. It even has trouble starting when hooked up to a charger. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem? I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Had the same problem last week. Wound up been a bad electrical connection. I just checked and cleaned all points and hey presto she started first time. :-))

If my bike was cranking but not firing, that would make sense, but I am having trouble getting it to crank over. Spark and ignition does not seem to be the problem. The problem seems to be with the starter or engine. I could really use some advice on this issue. Thank you.
