Wondering if anyone would be able to help me , im currently rebuilding a 1999 R6 , the previous numpty... sorry owner , in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a good idea to remove the fuel pump bracket and move the pump , simply wrapping it in rubber and electrical tape and laying it under the fuel tank

have bought the bracket to refit the pump but the pipe positions on the pump dont look right , one is a straight pipe from the pump the other is a 90 degree bent pipe

i have seen a picture of a pump on ebay where both pipes are bent at 90 degrees , im thinking my bike may have the wrong pump fitted (the term "fitted" is used loosely) but cant find any other pictures anywhere showing the pump in position , could anyone possibly confirm this for me ?

problem solved , the pump fitted to my bike is from an R1 ! new pump ordered
