Rob82 Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Wondering if anyone would be able to help me , im currently rebuilding a 1999 R6 , the previous numpty... sorry owner , in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a good idea to remove the fuel pump bracket and move the pump , simply wrapping it in rubber and electrical tape and laying it under the fuel tank I have bought the bracket to refit the pump but the pipe positions on the pump dont look right , one is a straight pipe from the pump the other is a 90 degree bent pipe i have seen a picture of a pump on ebay where both pipes are bent at 90 degrees , im thinking my bike may have the wrong pump fitted (the term "fitted" is used loosely) but cant find any other pictures anywhere showing the pump in position , could anyone possibly confirm this for me ?
