Hello to all.

Let me introduce our selves. We are a group of individuals from Greece, UK and Cyprus and in April 2012 we are about to beging an epic journey around the globe, visiting more than 40 countries in 6 continents, covering more than 53000 miles in only 120 days, with one target. To raise founds for children control by UNICEF.

We are all ready in the 14th month of preperation, but hopefully we are going to be ready on time. We do have the support of few companies, and with their support we hope that we will make it to the end.

The route is as follows. We start from Athens Greece and through Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Mongolia we are going to Siberia and through the famous road of bones or Kolyna highway and to Makadan. From there we fly to Fairbanks Alaska and through Canada we heading to New York which we will have 2 days rest. From there we heading to Central America and all the way to Brazil. Another flight, a long one, to Senegal and through the oldest continent down to cape town covering 13000 kms. Another flight...again to Perth Australia and going through all major cities we heading north to Darwin which will lfy to Malyasia and through India Iran, Turkey we heading again to Germany (with another flight) to fininsh to UK hopefully after 120 days.

At this point we would like to know if there are clubs out there in the cities we will visit, so we could orgainise together the country crossing with the view to raise local awareness for children in needs.

Something importnant is that we will not collect any money from any individual, as this is not our target. We do have our own way to raise the desired amount.

Any ideas, opinions, but also the way anyone could support our project is welcome.

And for the curious ones the bikes we are going to use are 4 brand new, special prepared for this project Yamaha 1200 Super Tenere, and 2 support vehicles.

We will try to post any news we have so we can keep everyone inform.

Happy rides

G
