Hiya, My Dad has had and fixed bikes for years. Recently got a Yamaha XMAX 250 (2010) and he got a puncture in the rear wheel. A random guy said he'd need special equipment (a hub puller or something like it) to get the rear wheel off to get it fixed. Can anyone say if this is the case or if the random was just being a tube? Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks guys,

Sarah, Gordon's Daughter

sorry Sarah and Gordon but I dunno, it's not a common or garden bike so have no experience with scoots

However I would be surprised if special tools were needed for such a common task. I take it you've had a look see and cant fathom it?
