Greetings all.

I have an XVS1100 [99] here in the UK, I have had to put a new engine in as the old one died.

The next problem I find is that when indicators are on the odometer and the N light blinks.

Plus when the ignition is on, the starter cut off switch/fuel pump relay (In the head stock area)

buzzes clicks and whines and I have replaced it 3 times.

The fuel pump did fuse and short itself out last month and it has been replaced, the fuses are all intact

The new pump is good and runs happily from a battery but plugged into the harness it doesnt get any voltage or

current when the ignitions on.

The battery is sound and cranks the engine over.

Have I stuffed my CDI do you think?
