Hello everyone - I am in the process of repairing and bringing back to life a 2006 MT-03 which has been crashed and neglected. It was an insurance write off but the frame , fuel tank etc were untouched. I have been successful in sourcing a replacement swing arm and Akrapovic exhaust from ebay and all is going well but I have encountered my first issue and wondered if anyone might be able to help.

Having replaced the handlebars I have found that the MT switches have little locating tabs on them which correspond to holes in the original handlebars. Has anyone had experience of removing them? Do the switches stay in place? I want to avoid the inconvenience of drilling the new bars if possible but do not want them rotating around the handlebars if possible!

Nevermind - new handlebars are on and tabs removed.

Oops just seen this, I would have drilled the new bars myself...not all that much of an inconvenience really methinks ;)
