Posted May 18, 201113 yr Hi guys, so got my first bike on the road and after some subtle mods and some new parts, shes looking mint, i've decided after 2000miles and not knowing its past that its time to change the chain and sprocket set i was wondered if changing the front sprocket from a 14 tooth to a 17 tooth would make any difference at all? Thanks for your help! Ollie................ DO not worry! just read an interesting post about 125 sprocket changing, which has lead me to think, get it, its only a 5er but keep the old one in case this ruins my gearing and possibly top gear pulling power..... Thanks.
