Xj6 Exhaust Mod...

Hey,

Just wondered if anyone else has done this exhaust mod that I see being thrown around the Fz6r forum. Actually come to think of it there was a sales guy at Bill Smiths in Chester who had a Diversion with a modded exhaust so I know this mod has got to our shores...if not perhaps being started here!

Anyway, it sound like a simple removal of the old exhaust tip mount and exit pipe and then cutting to a 2.5 inch diameter and inserting a chrome tip. Looking on ebay, the sounds pretty good (it isnt like a performance exhaust by any stretch of the imagination) but when slip ons arent an option its the only option available for under 400 quid!

Also, if you have one of the slip on extension pipes like the scorpion I would be interested to hear what you think of those. I cant see how it could improve anything without a modification to the back box.
