mini disk players...

are they any good? obviously mp3 players are the thing to get now but been offered a really good mini disk player from my sisters father in law!! he asked if i'd want it so she said yes dont know much about them though. do you store music on the mini disk things or do you buy them like normal cd's? sorry if i seem thick, not really into this type of thing you know

usually ull buy a minidisk player and it also records so u can record your music onto the minidisks. i dont think u can achully buy minidisks with music on them but im not sure, usually you just buy blanks and record onto them, if you whip ur cd writer drive draw open you will notice a smaller ring in the middle for mini disks

hey liquidcooled, the mini disc player should come with software n wiring to go into ur usb port, all you do then is put the disc into the minidisc player and set it to record, stick in ur usb port, and burn the music directly onto the minidisc (just like when u copy a cd onto your comp), if it doesnt you have a right pratt on with it trying to find an appliance with an optical outlet on it to record from!! and the other answer is no i dont think you can buy minidiscs pre recorded just blanks i think anyway, but if anyone knows where you can pls tell me!! :wink:

hmm the thing i said about been able to put them in your cd writer...ignor that bit lol, i was thinking of mini normal cds... :oops: :s but everything else still applys lol
