I'm keen to replace the fork springs on an '81 XS250c (very soggy now !!). Having looked on sites such as Hagon for their progessive springs, they don't have a listing for the xs250 (only later xs400 models). Does anyone know if replacement springs are available. Would new "standard" springs help or is there a different make / type which would be OK? Or...without pulling a fork apart does anyone have the standard dimensions? Andy

Andy, when buying for your 250, the 360 and 400 models are identical frame wise but make sure they are SE as that model has a slightly longer stantion.

You may also want to check out Wurth springs based in germany! (via ebay)

Thanks for the tip about the SE model - the german springs look interesting and the cost seems reasonable too. Andy
