Hello, I am new to the forum and I bought a 1979 175. I'm wondering if someone could help me determine if it really is a 1979 or if it is a different year, also if it is a mx or what. I would appreciate the help. I will post pictures.

    Either post the frame number minus the last 3 numbers,

    Easier still, which side is the oil tank. RHS its a 1980 model left its a 1979. There is some carry over and people do swap parts about so the engine/frame number is the safest bet.
