Hi there,

So I come to use my 94 virago 400 a month or so back with the weather being nicer. After some failed starts the battery dies on me.

No problem, I recharge the battery, pop it back in and the bike roars to life.

I balance the bike up getting it off its kickstand and it dies on me.

I fiddle with the battery again, it fires up, I drive off a few seconds later it dies again and has never recovered.

What I know is (which to start with is not alot I am a computer person not a mechanical person :) )

The battery is charged and connected fine.

The 20a fuse blows instantly when replaced.

No wires look visibly wrong.

I am assuming my problem is either a burnt out wire or a bad earth?

Is there anywhere common that is recommended to look first?

Any and all help is appreciated

Thank you!
