I picked up 3 bikes 2- 125's and a mx 100. Going to fix 2 of them up. I got the 125 running and it starts and idles like a charm but has no guts. The carb is clean and tank is clean fresh gas but when you hit 5g,s its done. Could the points do this? The bike has a true 2500 miles. I got it from a guy that bought it for his kids to ride to school and back in the 70's and it has been sitting in a garage sence 1978.

Exaust was stopped up. A propane torch and about 45 min it runs pretty dang good but the clutch is slipping but then I am 240 pounds. Poor little bike

Well you were correct it ran good for a short time and the seal under the generator gave it up. Going to replace both on both bikes
