Posted April 13, 201114 yr Hello all. My name is Cameron; I am from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. I just bought my very first motorcycle: a 1973 Yamaha TX500. Just getting the gas tank de-rusted and lined so I won't have problems down the road with rust in the carburetors. In a week, when that's finished, I'll be bringing it in to safety and I'll get it on the road. Anyone have any tips on what to do to get it running well right off the bat? I know I should clean and sync the carbs... any tips regarding that? Thanks. Look forward to the help that is out there from other enthusiasts. -Cameron
