I have a 97 Tour Deluxe. The previous owner changed the exh sys to an open pipe sys. My problem is that he did not rejet. Question. What size jets do I try first?

Also at slow speed the bike wants to pull right is this normal? Thanks Cap N Moe.

do you need to rejet? Is the idle off? Does the bike surge? Is it gutless in the middle?

unless you have a problem it is not always necessary. Somewhere on WWW-land is a guide by mikuni and also a guide by FactoryPro about carb set-up.

Being a 'custom' these things are far less of an issue than a sportsbike, which is under far greater load and therefore ttuning more critical.

Last thing, if it really is a worry, find a local dyno and get it run, maybe the mains need up or down.
