'81 SR250

Hello all, I just recently recieved an '81 SR250 in pretty good condition, and have been riding it around and it feels/runs fantastic. In the next few months I would like to do a few things to tweak the look and performance of the bike as well as get rid of any unneeded weight. One such thing I have been looking into are replacing the stock airbox with a breathe and pod filter as illustrated here ; http://www.yurisite.com/photos/motik/project/sr250air.html .... my question though is if anyone has done this for this particular bike and could help me figure out what else I need to do other than "plugging" the filters on; any carb adjustment etc... I'm pretty new to working on bikes so any help would be great
