Posted March 27, 201114 yr Hello! I joined this site in hopes that i can garner the wisdom of other classic Yamaha owners. I was just given a FREE 1975 Yamaha XS500B and being a home mechanic, need all the help i can get to bring some life into this long dormant bike. I am now a 2 Yamaha household, the other being a 1980 SR500 that is a blast to ride. The wife has already claimed the XS as her own, she likes the electric start button. Thanks for the support and i look forward to asking lots of questions on the forum.
