Hey there everyone! I just bought a 1979 Yamaha XS750 Special. This is my starter bike/man project and I am excited. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Funny, my first bike ever and I have never riden a bike before. This should be challanging and fun. I just purchased Pod air filters for each carb and now need to buy a new battery.

Thanks! I need to mess with the front brake. For some reason it is extremely hard to squeeze the brake lever.

Welcome MakoV, i remember the Xs 750. i was pillion in1977, as we entered a corner " mate changed down a gear, Fkn back wheel locked, :huh: Shaft drive, We only had been on RD"s & Dt"s

What a shiter we got,,, Thats why thers never been a race bike with shaft drive ,,,;)
