Posted March 24, 201114 yr Are there any Generic sealed bulbs that will fit in my 1975 RS100B. I'm finding similar bulbs but nothing that seems to let it be known if it will fit. The bulb is a 6 volt 25/25 watt, and I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure they are 5.5 inches in diameter. Any help would be amazing thanks a bunch! Matt R
March 25, 201114 yr Author After a good bit of websluthing the headlight is 5-3/4in or 143mm. Any help would be amazing.
March 25, 201114 yr Moderator I dunno mate, They are a PITA these sealed beam things, I read on another forum about removung the bulb and rough but effective, attaching a new lamp held by silicone sealant? Its not something we suffer from over here I think.
March 25, 201114 yr Author I ended up finding a relatively cheap NOS so this is all kind of a moot point. So they are still out there just gotta go and look and have good information. Thanks a whole bunch anyway!
