I have been told that a YZF750 gearbox will fit into my TRX (it supposedly makes them MUCH better), has anyone done it & knows how to do it as the selector shafts & forks are completely different, or can you put me in touch with someone that has done it.

have you been onto the TRX forum, as the same question was asked there recently, basically it is a big job, and not for the faint hearted.
