Hi folks, a friend of mine mine living in Japan might pick up a used Virago 250, and was wondering if the bike can handle her Widder electric vest. It's a previous generation to the last version, listed here. I could've sworn it was 22 watts draw, but I'm gonna go with the 33 watts listed there (hers is a size 38), as I can't imagine them being that different electrically.

Can the little Virago handle it? I don't know anything about this bike, but for comparison I used the same vest on my old '93 Suzuki Bandit 400, which I believe has a 250 watt generator, and I never had any problems with it. Unlike modern vests Widders' were very efficient (sad to see those guys go).

Anyway, thanks for any info on this.
