mr angry Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Anyone any experience of thunderace clutch slip and is it expensive to replace? Oddly enough it is worse when cold.
Moderator YamaHead Posted November 5, 2004 Moderator Posted November 5, 2004 Interesting how it slips when it's cold? If you're handy with the spanners, replacing the clutch is a piece of cake 8) ...although I'm really not sure how much one will run on your side of the pond.
westy06 Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Anyone any experience of thunderace clutch slip and is it expensive to replace? Oddly enough it is worse when cold. before you get the tool box out and give your self a head frying make sure that you have the correct grade of oil if its motor bike oil you wont have a problem though if its normal car engine oil you will get clutch slip try changing the oil and put on a new oil filter you will get all you need from halfords i sugest an engine flush before you change oil this should cure your problem failing that mate then its the clutch hope that helps
