scokingusevi
Greetings from Denmark, I am renovating a Yamaha DT80 LC for my son and I have found a big bore cylinder without a piston. The bore is 57mm which makes it 110cc I think. Can anyone tell me wher I can find a piston for it?

Try speaking to these people PJME they stock all the quality piston brands and do nothing other than bike engines. If they don't know they will be able to help. scokingusevi
I checked out the 125 piston, its the same diameter as the cylinder but 6mm taller than the DT80 piston
Moderator Cynic Posted February 20, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 20, 2011 Is that just a longer skirt, if the deck height is the same,(height from gudgeon pin ctr to top of piston) and the ports aren't too long. Ie they don't drop too far then it you could just trim the required amount of metal from the piston.
