CraigPG Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Hi guys I have a 2005 dt125x and the other day i changed the chain and sprockets, all went fine until i went to start it up. It would turn over but not fire up. Up until now I have never ever had trouble getting it started. I stripped it down and there is no power getting to the coils. I've got basic knowledge when it comes to mechanics but im terrible with electrics. Has anyone got any suggestions, or had the same problem and fixed it. No the killswitch is off and the neutral lights are working fine and all of my other electrics are working, indicators, pv the lot. i just don't have a spark at all. Moderator Airhead Posted February 8, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 8, 2011 Sorry i dont fully understand that. you really are terrible with electrics if you are looking for a spark you need to hold the metal body of the plug against the metal of your engine (usually the cylinder head).
