budunt Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 hi im new on this site and to bikes really im a car mechanic so not totally stupid ! i have a dt lc i changed the piston and rings and gaskets at first it started fine but over heated after say 3 to 5 miles it has tap water and a bit of anti freez in it and good gear oil ,then i tryed it today and it seamed to have water on the spark plug and obvs wouldnt run i took the head off and got rid of the lil spots of water and put the head back on and tightend it down more seams to of sorted it it now kicks up but revs at 9000rpm! i dont no what to do with it its doing my head in so any advice would be great thanks
