Posted February 2, 201114 yr Hi all , I am looking for some advice on an exhaust system . I currently own a 1985 MaxximX 750 liquid cool. NOTE: this is not the maxxim 750 or the maxxim 700. The problem with this exhaust is there is a few spot with weld and the rest is not that strong anymore. I want to cut the exhaust after the down pipes and then go 4-1 into a GSX-R flange with a GSX-R pipe . Now how much or any will this affect the carburators? will I need to change the jets ? This bike is originaly equipt with a 4-2 exhaust. Is there anything I should beware before attempting ? I have previously looked to replace the complete exhaust with an aftermarket, but none are availlable for this bike, Actually here there is barely any listing for parts for this bike, I even tried to look at buying brand new ehaust but unavaillable.
