barnfind 79
I recently inherited a 1979 Special 750 cc Triple. The bike has been sitting in a barn for at least 15 years, and to my knowledge hasn't been started in that long. Before that time I rode the bike on a couple of occasions and other than a misalignment issue, with the front forks, it seemed fine. I need to get the bike operational so I can get a local title inspection done in order to transfer it into my name. Since I have been searching for replacement parts, I have been hearing about an inherent problem concerning the vaccume-controlled fuel delivery. Would anyone in the forum have a first hand knowledge of this concern? I expect to have the carbs apart and wouldn't want to leave something unchecked before reassembly.
