I bought a project for myself in the form of a FZR600 1990, first thing ive done is got all the service bits, also, it didnt come with a starter, it had a blanker in where starter goes, i have removed it and also removed casing to reveal, it has nothing! can anyone tell me whats needed to get a fully functional starter in this? also, what quantity of engine oil does it take? thanks guys

You will need a full starter clutch assembly, gears everything , it will cost you though £300 plus even if you can get new doubt it,but i have not checked look on ebay and see what turns up

2.2 litres of oil,2.5 with new filter, it should be half way up on the oil sight when the bike on a level surface
