hi, i am new to the yamaha owners club as i have bought a 91 virago 535, my problem is when the bike has been run for a long while it revs really high, its fine when cold or run for short while. the carbs have balanced and cleaned, does anyone have any idea what might be causing this problem? any help would be greatly appreiated,

Have you tried dropping the idle speed a bit?
