May 10, 201113 yr Having been of 2 wheels for 15 years and driving a car i decided it is time to return to 2 wheels, I bought a 2001 650 Dragstar from a Bike shop 30 miles from my home and having sorted the insurance out went to collect it....Then it became windy in Brandon CO Durham so for the next 29 miles i was re learning how to ride, Having lost 3 stone on the way home i arrived back then had a nice cup of coffee then i noticed the aches due to not being in the saddle for so long. Nice bike glad i bought it but the silver 2 peice heat shield fell off can i buy them ?. New to the forum but The Dragstar is the best bike for comfort and that Thumping sound from the engine.
May 24, 201113 yr My 650 Classic arrived last Friday. I have down sized from an XVS950. Went out on the Classic on Sturday and I rate the ride much better than the 950
