hi steve from north wales here.

fairly experienced biker, previous ranging from viragos to 2 stroke ktms to sp1 1000 v twin. Joined this forum as im pretty sure i want a wr250R for 20mile daily commute and weekend greenlaning, unless im convinced otherwise by you guys. also will browes your for sale section as im ready to buy. used. thanks, steve

Welcome steve " Go the whole hog the WR450, is a beast, I"v ridden the SP1 , Was like sittin on a Jack hammer, :huh: vibration, plenty grunt tho :)

sut mae! to people from wales.

um the wr450 would be to much for me in the dirt, i come off alot, and i like to crash at slow speeds. my husaberg 400 scared me. yep a wr250r suits the bill, capable beyond my limits off road, and decent mpg for commuting. ps i think the sp1 is one of motorcycles greatest secrets. sssshhhh dont tell everyone ;-)
