Thats a beast, looks good in red. 'Gas-up-lets-go' had one but has just sold it I think.

Yep, it's morphed into the shape of a Landrover........

These bikes have loads of grunt, and the engine (although a littl 'old') is pretty nice. But here in the frozen north, the roads aren't really great for bikes with short travel suspension.... or wading ability !

Nice bike though.

I've got one!

XJR1200.jpg

LSL rear sets - because the standard pegs got worn away on the tarmac.

Ohlins fully adjustable rear shocks.

Ohlins progressive front springs.

Renegade 4-1 race pipe and stainless steel downpipes (not Yamaha double skinned pipes).

Dynojet.

BMC air filter.

Telefix fork brace.

Goodridge front hoses.

Yamaha XS 1100 inlet manifolds.

Only bad things I can say about it is it eats front pads and disks like a Grufalo, and spits out clutch slave cylinder seals every 10 -15,000 miles. The bikes now done over 87,000 miles - mostly flat out. Got the neck muscles to prove it
