Posted January 6, 201114 yr Hello, i have an Nreg 1996 DT125r bought it a few months ago.... had problems with it, i kick start bike, it runs for about 5 seconds some times longer then cuts out, if i touch the throttle it cuts die's down and cuts out straight away kick it again and it does the same again repeat a few times and it doesnt start take the plug out dry it put it back in and it does the same again.... when i do finally get it going it runs good when sitting in garage it's smokey but on the road seems fine..... tryed changing plug,wetting plug with petrol, cleaning air filter, draining carb, but that's about it.. thanks to any 1 who can sugest what could be up ta Dave from inverurie!!
