so between 070101 and 079000 is al 1986 because mine have a round lamp not a square or the various numbers means these little differences?

That is the only information I have, I see what you mean about the round / square lamp. Check out all the pictures, have a look round other years on 'bikepics' site.

Does you instrument cluster look different also? Have a good look around

(the seat is also a different "it dont go up on the tank" )

those pictures and years have mistakes (1972? they start to product dt-s in 1978) some of their not valid

where do you find that between 070101 and 079000 is 1986 (in a different site?)?

(i think dt50mx is a round lamp type and the dt50m have square )
